My newest and only silver stamped ring turn. Unfortunately it was buffed gently, the blades as well. Why people, why?!!!
Oh well it is not rubbed out at least! I won it for just over eighty bucks. Not bad for a silver ring turn.

Thanks man! I guess? Could not tell it was as shiny as it is in their pics, or mine. It is very shiny in person. Makes me so mad, that people shine em up!

There's been a gold 'Tiffany' ring turn on the bay for years now! Too rich for my blood! Over 3k last I looked... nope!

Latest find! Camillus 'SUNBRITE' I have seen this one a few times in Google images. Nice that I was able to actually score one. Nice condition too!

This may be a little late but...... are there no springs? Is there any kind of lock or snap? They are nice knives but i have never seen one, let alone held one so i am just trying to understand how they are made. Thanks

It is just like any other pocket knife (Yes, it has back springs ) Ring knives also have special pins that act as the turning mechanism.. Square torrents with a holes for rings, fit into square holes in base of each blade....

You are doing very good hunting your knives. Lee called you Kurt, your comment about seeing the Camillus reminded me of my searches for the farmers jacks I collect. I guess collectors are like hunters tracking game, sometimes for years.

What are the average lengths, are they all similar or the same?

Hey no worries about my name guys! Most people think it's 'Kurt', so in my 58 years of life... I am used to it, or much worse! lol
Thanks for the 'Hunting' Compliments. I was raised a hunter and I have carried the spirit since near birth! I love the hunt. So thanks guys!

Around 3 inches some bigger but not much.. some, a few, smaller... All have the 'rings' more rare are ones that only have one blade and one ring. (That I have seen anyways)

No problem on my name! Haha, I might just have the largest ring turn collection? There is a guy on Instagram that has a lot of them as well...
I now have 109, plus some duplicates I need to sell off or trade.

Hey guys! Just won another cool ring turn on the Bay, $67.00! Camillus Cutlery Co. AA SIMONDS & SON DAYTON OH Knife 'Machine Knives'

I had to have this one! Since I have three of the more known A. A. Simond's Worden ring knives...(last pic here)
Maybe this was their first style, I don't know?

There other ring turns are usually unmarked, or by W.H. Morley & Sons with the clover stamp. This one is a Camillus!

So, just snagged this rare looking 'Pirelli' ring turn. I already have the more common one (just script on back scale).

This one has a tire embossed on the back scale!

Looking forward to adding this in...

That is a neat one for sure! Pirelli over the years has commissioned some pretty wild promotional stuff.Their calendars are legendary! I have one piece of,Pirelli Propaganda" that isn't too common:a bronze belt buckle that Pirelli commissioned Salvador Dali to design. He actually did two different ones and I was fortunate enough to stumble across one at an outdoor flea market a long time ago for $5.Today if you add a couple of zeroes to that price it is about what they are selling for now if you can find them.Hope the moderators don't mind me posting it and if they consider it too risque then they can delete it.

Going through some old knife magazines in search of an ad I came across these pictures. I never knew anyone made custom ring turn knives but apparently Dennis Brooker did. Pictures came from the May 1982 issue of the American Knife Collector in an article by Phil Pankewicz on blade finishes.
