Re: Ring opener knives
I was the same! I had seen them on ebay while searching other knives. I always just glanced at them and kept searching.. (I had no interest in them) Once I bought just one, I was hooked!!!doglegg wrote:Kirk, those never interested me until I see your post, then I start thinking it would be kneat to have one. Re: Ring opener knives
I had this posted in general, and I think with all the help I received, that we narrowed the date down to 1920-1939, but it was suggested I post it here ,that one of you may have additional history,or insight, it has both tangs stamped with Bridge Cutelry Co. thanks for looking

Re: Ring opener knives
So I just one the bid on a silver ring turn! Assuming the Hallmarks match up with 100% authentic. My first descent silver ring turn on it's way. As well, I will now have 104 ring turn knives in my collection. A few pics of silver Ebay win and the MOP, (in the mail) Plus - 102 of my other ring turns.
I think I have a problem...

Re: Ring opener knives
Great to see your whole collection. Some knife patterns there that I never imagined would be in ring opener style.

Re: Ring opener knives
Hey guys, just had to post the eight MOP ring-turns, I now have in my collection.
Only one is not originally MOP, I had it restored by Mr. B. DeShivs...
However, the other seven are original MOP (mother of pearl), handle scaled.
I think the MOP are some of my favorite to - find and collect.
