65-69 Stockman
65-69 Stockman
I think I have the correct information on this knife but looking to make sure. I picked it up at an estate sale to resell and want to be sure of the information I have prior to selling it.
I believe it to be a 65-69 Stockman, as it has "Case XX, Stainless, USA" with no stars on one side of the tang, and "6318HP, SSP" on the other side.
Also, what is the handle material called, jigged red bone?

Thanks, gsmith, I was pretty sure but wanted a bit of reassurance.
Now the real question is value?

Harold,
Are you asking or thinking that I'm incorrect?
The pictures do look a bit darker than in person.
Thanks,
J.R.

J.R. I my thoughts are that it is nice Case Bone, but not what I call Red Bone. Many different opinions on this. Greg may be right, but I would not pay a Red Bone price for the knife.

True Case red bone is more orange in my opinion. But that's a great looking -18 pattern knife.

Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!
