I was looking at a modern Case XX knife (with a long-tailed C) and it has "IKA" on the tang stamp. What does that stand for? Thanks,
Dennis

Re: What's IKA?
My guess is that it is actually USA with the letters real close together. The U is worn on the bottom, making the left side the I, and the right side looking like it makes the left side of the K. The S is the lightning bolt font, bottom worn off, and close enough to the right side of the U to make it look like it makes up the K. Take a look at the 1993-1999 tang stamps here ---> http://casexx.com/Library/TangStamp.asp
Take care and God bless,
