Snakeskin Stag

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

I really like this stag, I’d like to see more. Please post pics of anything you categorize under this term.

I have not heard of these handles before. They are attractive for sure, but stag or bone ?

First time I've heard the term snakeskin stag. It's a fitting name. I have heard the term popcorn stag before associated with handles like these pictures. I included the modern mammoth handle example because it has a similar look, but has a very smooth texture so it doesn't feel the same at all.

I’ve heard it called
Pebbles stag as well. Thanks for the putting together the example pics. I love how you often do that on post, it’s very cool
