Full Size sodbuster sheath

Anyone carry a full size Sodbuster in a belt sheath? I'd like to add one but feel it would be bulky in front pocket.

I regularly carry a 4 inch stockman (about the same size as a sodbuster) in my right front pocket and don't find it uncomfortable, nor do I worry about it "printing". But I don't wear tight pants - usually jeans, sometimes slacks or shorts. When working I also carry a larger single blade lockback jack (similar to a sodbuster) in my back pocket next to my wallet. The walker keeps the knife vertical in the pocket so it doesn't slide down into the bottom. You might try that if you don't want a belt sheath.

I carry mine (Rough Rider Coal Miner Work Knife) using a similar method in my left front pocket). Wallet too serves to keep it vertical. While working, I prefer having it on a belt sheath (can't slide out, and is easier to get to). They make a variety of "cross-draw" sheaths for that. None of my existing stock of sheaths seems to fit this knife well.

I've never owned, much less carried, a full-size Sod Buster. I do carry a CopperLock, which is 3/8" smaller. For now, my large knives go in a dedicated pocket (either thigh or front hip, depending on what pants I'm wearing). The CopperLock hasn't felt too bulky in the hip pocket.

However, I strongly prefer to carry my knives in a sheath, so I'll be getting sheaths made for all my carriers. The Sod Buster could work well in a sheath, but with its pronounced curve, I'd carry it tip-up.

Back pocket carry is something I, personally, won't do...but that's another story for another time.
