I can just see an old Sheffield cutler painstakingly crafting those bolsters! What a knife Joe. ::tu:: ::tu::

Found this one on my lunch hour at the antique store across the street from where I work. Don't know why I felt I needed it but I haven't gotten a knife in a while and the price was right. First Utica for me. Now when my 5 year old granddaughter joins the girl scouts she will have a vintage knife to carry! If they even let them carry knives anymore! Ha

My daughters were angels!! Ha ha. Now they are mothers! Yes I guess attitudes and knives might not be a great combination! They live in San Diego. Not far from your part of the world.

My friend Mossdancer from here on AAPK gave me one of those Girl Scout knives last year. They are great scout knives and the blade steel is excellent. Nice find !

QS I got that from Kj (Roland) it has some great stag handles on on it. Thanks!

Roland that's a 712010L Tribal lock back. This is my second attempt at acquiring one. On the first the ebony handles had wave marks but this one is nice and smooth.

Thanks Steve! I did get some pretty good stuff this week. I was kind of beat when I got home last night so I just took some quick shots of the knives but I'll put them in their respective threads today and inspect them a little closer today. I also got another item that I didn't show. I think I'm going to need some suggestions and ideas with it. ::nod::

It's actually too pristine. Somebody subjected it to a buffer. Which is not that big a deal. I was after the hinged box more than the knife. This knife is going to make for nice eye candy and have an original minty 8OT to put in the box.

I did not recognize it had been buffed but I congratulate myself on at least seeing there was something special about it. It does look good in that box.
As an accumulator, not a serious collector, the buffing does not bother me as long as it was not being sold as NIB or mint.
