Greg, when that transformer blew it must have lit up half of Georgia.
The value must be tremendous, copper is $3.05 a pound today per "Comex"
I would imagine that the trucking firm would provide armed transportation and layover security?
People steel Copper wiring daily. Many times the wiring is still active, sending the thieves into oblivion. ::lightening::

Dan apparently that's a fairly common occurrence. Sometimes I get two or three of those a week. They just keep melting them down and making new ones. ::shrug::

 When I read this I thought "Knowing Greg he's got a Negra Modelo!" ::tu::

Greg, as we've discussed our taste in beer runs down the same gutter - dark is better. (Figure of speech - there's nothing "gutter" about Negra Modelo. Had my first Negra Modelo in Aguascalientes in 1986, years before it was ever exported to the U.S. that I know of.)

Speaking of dark beer, next time you're in the DFW area try one of these.

Now that looks like a thick brew there Ken. I'll have to give that a shot. Texas seems to have quite a large number of micro breweries I have noticed. ::tu::

A loaf of bread in every bottle!

I'm afraid I'm not a very sophisticated beer drinker. I prefer pale ales - and quite frankly, anything more than an ice cold Miller Lite is completely wasted on me. Wine, vodka & tequila are a completely different story...

TFL The pale ales and lagers always tasted bitter to me. I think if you would try my most favorite, New Castle Brown Ale you would really enjoy it.

I went to Germany a few years back and drank a lot of "bit burger" beer. Great flavor. I'd consider it an ale. They serve it at the McDonald's drive threw window. Great country ::tu::

I can't decide if my favorite is "New Castle Brown Ale" or "Yuengling".

I don't remember if I've tried the Black & Tan or not. Seems like I did a couple of years ago when we were down in Tennessee but I just don't recall. I'm pretty much hooked on the Traditional Lager.

John was typing while I was. Me too John. I also like Negra Modelo and Michelob Amber Bock.
