1965-69 Hawbaker

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Beautiful knife. I've noticed over time that you are very methodical and persistent in your collecting. You seem to only go after the specific knives you want and nothing else matters until you get it. Very single minded approach and I mean that in a good way. Well done. ::tu:: ::nod::

Thanks everyone! I plan to add this to my serpentine frame collection..

Maybe I’m wrong, but I consider the rat and 47 to be the same frame..

The Case standard muskrat is indeed built on the #47 frame. That Hawbaker is the cleanest and most desirable example I've ever seen. You have a museum piece there IMO. Congrats! ::tu::
