Photo Shoot! Fan favorites! 88's 45's 75's 54's & more

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Photo Shoot! Fan favorites! 88's 45's 75's 54's & more

Post by XxTestedxX »

Tonight a took some time and staging to set these up, inspired by some old case knife advertising with the way I proped the blades open, very fun and really enjoyed how they turned out.

Feedback/criticism (constructive) is welcome :)

Thanks for looking!

Wow!!!!!!!!!!!! Those turned out absolutely beautiful. ::tu:: You can really see the smallest details on each knife and no glare. You got the lighting down just perfect. Very clean and crisp images.

Also, I like the way the knives are displayed with the blades partially open. From my experience, it's very difficult to get some of those blades to stay open so near to the closing point because they just want to close all the way. I have no idea how you did that.

You did a fantastic job. Maybe you should offer your services. ::nod:: Well done Sir. ::tu::

Mike, I used hot glue! not melted of course, but cut chunk and placed them in the liners, no harm no foul :) but still took a lot of time to get it right.

you wouldn't believe but the filtered lighting is through a piece of toilet paper! hahaha honestly.

I'll likely take 4-5 a day until I'm done.

Just having a hard time taking pics of the rough black,

Very hard to get depth on the handles

Only working with an iPhone 6 here
