Case Trapper

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Post by BhamStan »

Hey guys I’m hoping I can get some info on a numbered trapper set I bought in 1982. One green other red handle number 272 out of ?? The Spey blade is serrated. Any info on these would be helpful I’ve never seen or read about this set. Thanks

Thanks for the offer. Lol. I’ll wait till it’s a 40yo set Correct me if I’m wrong but I’m afraid in a few years there won’t be much interest in collecting pocket knives. The trend I’m seeing with both guns and knives is all the kids want to collect combat related items and the classics are getting harder to sell. Just my opinion.
