We are in PM contact discussing it.
You guys are amazing!! The whole AAPK group.

Jerry I like that, Nevada Jerry! There are quite a few of you on here and every one I have interacted with just outstanding fellows.jerryd6818 wrote:Nevada Jerry, that is so outstandingly generous of you. Ooh Rah, Mo Fo.

Jerry, ya done good. What a great example you've set.zp4ja wrote:My pleasure Dave!
Thanks JerryD and Greg. I am good with the Nevada Jerry moniker. Love my state.
Further, as much I like knives, they are just knives and I enjoy giving especially to a young gal and her Dad and Grandfather given Dave's account of why he was seeking advice from our AAPK community and friends. A kid's first "real" knife is a special thing. Glad to contribute to that for sure.
Just what we all do...
Not the best with words at times but my heart is in the right place, that I know.
Regards, Jerry

You've got yerself there a gin-yoo-wine 1975 (5-dot) 6111½L "Cheetah" lockback in that gorgeous deep red jigged bone Case absolutely perfected (IMHO) in the 1940s-70s. It's an absolute beauty, and so are those two stag lovelies! That's a nuclear bomb from Jerry alright!CheckSix wrote:but... in the package was a third knife, marked: For you Dave. I couldn't believe my eyes when this was unwrapped! Prior to this, I have not owned a Case knife. This is a 6111 1/2L Swing Guard. From what I've been able to figure out from the tang stamp, it is a 1975 knife. Beautifully made. It's in my pocket, right now. Maybe some of you Case collectors can explain to me exactly what I have here.
Having just been on the receiving end of an out-of-the-blue generous gift from another AAPKer (thanks again, Paul!CheckSix wrote:Can you guys believe this??? Seriously. Who does this?!? This is so outside of the normal, for people to do.Jerry, if you read this... I cannot thank you enough! Unbelievable!
