Case knives by Camillus
Case knives by Camillus
Question to experts - what time period and what patterns Camillus did contract knives for Case?
Re: Case knives by Camillus
At the time that they went out of business (2006) , they were making Case hawkbills , electricians , and utility knives (all with delrin handles) . I am sure that they made others over the years , but I have no info on them .

Re: Case knives by Camillus
A while back on another thread Steve Pfeiffer wrote a post that said Camillus made for Case the 640045R, 62031 LR (delrin handles), 61011 (delrin), 62146L RSS Rigger (lockback spike, delrin), and some percentage of 048 patterns, late 1960s through 1977.
Hope I wrote it all down correctly.

Ken,
Great information! Thank you!
However, I think that also there were other patterns.

I contacted with Phil Gibbs (he worked for many years in Camillus) about 62031 knife, and he said "pretty sure we never made this pattern for Case"

I have a Case factory memo that indicates that Camillus did make the 62031 LR electricians knife.Vit_213 wrote:I contacted with Phil Gibbs (he worked for many years in Camillus) about 62031 knife, and he said "pretty sure we never made this pattern for Case"
