I did find out an interesting thing at a restaurant a short time ago.I wanted to order a hamburger rare which the waitress said they weren't allowed to do BUT if I ordered a STEAK burger(ground sirloin)I could get it as rare as I liked.I guess that is their way of getting around the ordinance.
I had a friend of mine who lived in San Francisco whose brother lived up in Alaska(since 1957).He would go caribou hunting there every year and being an amateur(now professional)photographer would usually do a lot of filming.
His brother had an unusual habit when bagging his first caribou of the hunt:That of removing the still-warm heart of the animal and consuming it on the spot.Little TOO RARE for me!
I also got a laugh out of the daughter's boyfriend thing:my ex- brother in law used to do pretty much the same when Kim(his daughter)would bring home a boyfriend.Somehow Ralph would always be at the kitchen table cleaning his guns.He used to do a lot of trap shooting but it seemed he was always cleaning his S&W model 29 with the 8 3/8ths inch barrel chambered on .44 Magnum. The fact that Ralph could pass for Chuck Norris' twin brother didn't help the situation any.Don't remember any of the kids dating Kim more than once.
Enclosing a pic of one "rare" knife that I acquired recently. In 50 plus years of collecting I have never seen another one and I can understand why. With the master blade open it is almost impossible to grip the knife due to the other blade being folded.
