I even remembered before pics! The old handles were celluloid that had shrunk & cracked at the pins. There was even a good sized piece missing from the pile side. Fortunately there was not a lot off gassing to cause a great deal of damage to the metal. It also looks like the blades were not used very much.
I took it apart and cleaned the inside. Then I put some Goldenroot RJB bone on the handles.
I was pleased with the results. I hope you enjoy the pictures.
FYI- The markings on the blades of the finished knife are actually reflection of the trees in my backyard.
I caught a patch of blue sky between rain storms!
