knife7knut and Bill the Tested XX 61050's you posted are outstanding!

Here is a Case Tested XX 6151 and Case Tested XX 6151 L (lockback) both in green bone. The 6151 is my only Case knife with the arrow shield - I would like to find more. This pattern probably wouldn't be practical to carry and use, but I certainly like the looks of it. Remington made a few variations of banana knives that I will try to post over in the Remington thread soon.

Thanks for looking.

cbfd and RalphA, bravo that is some excellent bone. Great looking knives both, man Ralph if that was mine I would have a hard time not carrying it now and then, beautiful and then some. Excellent pieces both of you, thanks for the show and tell.

I'm quite sure your Case knife is genuine. I have an identical knife in my junk knives accumulation. The blades are marked the same with the same blade configuration. Same old beautiful Rogers bone as well. The awl on mine is stamped XX below the 6445 pattern number. The master on mine is broken off, hence in the junk pile.

Dave & Larry ,
I am a sucker for those old ones as you know. It is hard not to admire the craftsmanship of the old knives. Why was it better than the new knives today? Both of those knives have qualities that you just can't find in today's knives. I agree Dave, Bob does great work!! ::tu::
