Great knives being posted Tom, Ivoryman, Jerry and Larry.

I don't recall seeing a "3/4" pattern stamp before like on Tom's WR Case & Son 6231 3/4.

Jerry that the first and only 66 pattern I have seen - where have you been hiding that one

Larry it's a good thing you have all the 91's so I won't be tempted to try to start collecting them.

Ivoryman is your knife a 55? I don't have one, but have been tempted lately because I am working on a small equal end collection.

Unbelievably cool whittler Larry, one of the coolest and oldest I ever saw. Looks almost new as well, great to see that stuff. Thanks.

RalphA, 62055 is right, IMHO get the equal ends, I love them, so pocket friendly but big enough blade, no corners and comfortable to carry, perfectly fits my medium sized hand. Of ALL designs I've ever had this is one of the all time best IMHO. Rock solid lock up, great sounding snap, pretty plumb colored old bone. The steel is so cool, easy to keep razor with just a few strokes on a fine stone. This knife is so fine it comes up in the rotation much more than most knives. I've never regretted it and still keep my eye out for them, will get more. Paid around fifty bucks for this and dollar for dollar don't know if I ever got a better knife for the price. I'm happier with it than some of the knives I paid over a hundred for. I could go on and on, but there are two cents and then some.

Here is a nice example of Case Tested XX 61098 green bone large toothpick. It has a little bit of patina and carbon spidering, but otherwise very close to original condition. Thanks for looking.

CASE BRADFORD stamped 5171 L that I just picked up. Nice weathered stag with a couple of tiny hairlines. The blade springs open like it should, and has the original factory finish.

Hey Joe, love saying that reminds me of Hendrix every time. Great old bone on that Joe, very pretty, and Steve, that's about one of the coolest I've ever seen, it that mechanism a lock or assisted open or what? Very cool knife, and what year would that ancient beauty be? Thanks for showing it off. Very cool.

That 92 beauty more than makes the grade Joe! Fine example of a great era and pattern there!

Nice old toothpick Jerry! Personally never really been drawn to that pattern although I do love seeing them.

WOW Steve! Nice pickup! Great old example there.

Ivory, it is a lever lock switchblade. Hard to find, rare, and a real find in that condition. Pre 1920 knife.

Here are four vintage and moderately uncommon Case knives: top to bottom
1. Case Brothers both blades marked
2. Case XX no pattern number, probably a 8271, with dovetail bolsters
3. Case Bradford - 83074, three blade stockman, all blades marked
4. WR Case - 6285

Hey I wondered what you might know about a Case 25 Cent Knife? Here's one on Ebay about to close and I wasn't aware of a Stag 25 Cent Knife ever being made especially with Bolsters.

One of my all time favorites and a gift from Volcano Q, appreciate it blade brother, '65-69 Mini T, the red looks even better than these mediocre pictures. Good looking and build like a tank.

Wish this one was mine(sigh);maybe someday. A good friend of mine brought it to our bi-weekly breakfast meeting one day to show me. Belonged to his dad and it was kept in his tackle box.Asked me if it was worth anything and was a bit shocked when I told him probably 2 or 3 hundred dollars. I don't think he will ever part with it but one can hope.........
