I got these clamps in a box lot of items at an estate sale.
It was evident the person was a model airplane builder, and I think these were clamps used in building airplanes.
The clamps are not strong enough for knife handles and I have no other use for them.

If someone can use these, let me know and I will ship them for the price of shipping.
I just want them out of the shop and to someone who can use them.

..dale, never thought I would see these on a knife website!!!...I have some that were given to me by my uncle probably 70 years ago, and I still use them!!.....I'm still building balsa stick and tissue models, and they are very handy!!!............. ............

I love bumping into vintage stuff......remember when every man had one of these thermos's for his coffee!! They were the latest and greatest back then!

Oh, yeah. Dad carried one to work every day with his lunch pail. The hot setup was one of those Aladdin Stanley Thermos jugs. I still have one with the aftermarket handle but haven't used it in years.

Cracked a lot of hickory nuts. I think Daddy's tutelage was as Charlie's family did,except I usually ate as I cracked . It seemed best to hold the nut on it's end , sharp point up,striking thereupon. Also find the right blow that would crack and not pulverize the nut.

Papaw Napier would spend hours cracking nuts in the shed on rainy days. It helps to have a very solid base to crack on. I'd like to try those nutcrackers,might be the trick.

I expect it would pay you Glen to give the nuts a month or two to dry somewhat to allow the meat to separate a little from the shell. I'm not talking about the scaly outer covering ,but the part that holds the meat.

This reminded me of some coins I received after my Aunts passed. I had some coins from their stuff and sold them. There were several Indian Head Pennies. 1 of them netted me enough to buy a 22/22mag Single Action Revolver by itself.

Some older things I've picked up at estate sales over the last year.....reminds me of my dad and days gone by.

As I was getting dressed this morning, I noticed I had not cut the tags out of the T-Shirt Linnea gave me for my birthday. Once I snipped the tags out I finally noticed, it is 100% MADE IN THE USA!!

I loved the T-Shirt when she gave it to me, now I love it even more.

Here's a couple of beautiful old fishing reels. Two of Pfluegers finest.The Templar and the Atlapac.
The Atlapac has a few more accessories. Like the thumb brake off of the left sideplate.

These old reels and others like them, were built to last. Many were roughly used and abused.

Dave, the Rockets, which were made in four models(??), were another one of Pfluegers best and most sturdy reels. Got any pictures of that old machine?
