Ima wearing a Paladin secret derringer belt buckle

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

I absolutely love those old classy knives that are ripe with character, have proven themselves, and still have a ton to offer. Nice knife.___Dave

That's a double-throw-down class rooskie. Not widely advertised due to high percentage of hernias suffered by those who attempt it!

Bob... i wish for (monitary reasons) it was a Tested frame..
Best I can tell it only a 1st Model frame (which is desireable)
see sample for a TESTED 54 frame from the depths of ma collection..
Knife in this discussion is the 3rd pic in this reply..
the 3 differences are qwite subtle

Whatcha think after seein these examples..

Mebbe a CASE Whale swim by here and chime in

regards and HET

If you measure the stag on the handle , it should be approx. 4-1/4" long on a "tested" and approx. 4-1/8" long on a 1st model .

Thanks for the pic with the ruler . I meant to say 3" instead of 4" . ("Oldtimers" is kicking in more often than I like to admit) . From the pics , your knives appear to be 1st models , I really like the older knives with "character" , and those are great examples .
