They made a boy scout knife with bone handle. It has Boy Scout Whittler etched on the blade, does not have number or shield
Only one of the two knives in the picture has the etch left on the blade.

I think we can safely say it's a #42 Senator.Vit_213 wrote:I recently bought the interesting Camillus knife that has no number on the blade. This knife is identical to the description of the #44 from 1946-1949 catalogs, but the tang stamp has a long line.
Out of the 1965 catalog.

First one of those I've seen, Vit. Very nice. Where do you find all these old Camillus knives in such pristine condition?

Thanks Carmillus, yes they are all #69's.
The oldest, [2nd from top] I believe, and my favorite [maybe]
is the 3 pin one.
It has file work top and bottom from the factory.

Re: Show Us Your Camillus Knives!
I'm thinking that one will be a long line. I've got rid of all but one of my delrin 69's, I have one that'll stay, and three in bone. I've only see nine with a short line stamp and I own it. They're kind of rare in my experience.
Great knives producer. I love those 69's.

It's Delrin® Tommy. Note the Delrin® haze in the pits of the jigging. It's pre-1976 and post late '60s. They stopped pinning the handles in about 1976 and went to the molded post method of attaching the handles.carrmillus wrote:.....what tang stamp does that one have??...it also appears to be bone instead of delrin???.......................
