Fight'n Rooster - Gold Blades???

Anyone tell me about this knife? I have never seen a knife with gold blades.

I think the late Frank Buster enjoyed the gold washed blades. Especially for knives that would most likely be show pieces. Here is the Fight'n Rooster, Knife World 15th Anniversary knife.....

So that is what you call them "gold washed"?????

At least on the Fight'n Roosters I've seen, I believe it is an immersion process or dip...rather than plating. I think it was also used on older firearms, in some cases. I don't believe it's real durable, but it looks cool on some things.

Well the Blade Magazine will go up for sale this coming week on knifeclassics on ebay. I actually have two of them I believe.

Frank did several knives with gold washed blades and some with gold washed handles too. I have had a few of them and they are very nice. Especially the pearl handled, gold bladed ones that he did for the Peterbilt Knife Club.
