Jeff Claiborne, Franklin Indiana

Post by HickoryNut »

Hi again, I live in Franklin Indiana. There is a man here in Franklin that needs great praising. His name is Jeff Claiborne, he is an awsome bladesmith. He takes great pride in making quality pocketknives. He makes some of the most beautiful hand crafted knives on the planet. And everything is done "in-house". There is a place on the web that has some of Jeff's knives. I believe its Vintageknives.com you should check it out. Im haveing him make me a 4inch 4blade congress with half stops and long pull blades. Im not sure what handle material I want yet...probably stag. He has pretty much any material you would want, from abalone to fossil ivory. Check it out. Jeff is one great bladesmith.

Bryan,
You are right. You cant imagine the quality of these knives. The thing I like most about his knives is that they look like the kind of knives we use and carry. He makes art knives like all the other custom makers but makes ALOT of classic looking folders. He is a true bladesmith and your heart kinda skips a beat when holding one of his creations.
