Only Pattern

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

My memory fails me. Can someone please tell me which pattern was made in a classic but not in the regular Case line. Thanks in advance.

Chris is absolutely correct. The 223 pattern was never offered by Case, but all of the other patterns were.

A great addition to the Classic series of knives, it is one heck of a great knife !!!

Actually the large stockman (6340?) was never in the regular Case line either.

While we are at it, the Wharncliffe whittlers (55, 055, and 0055) were never in the product line of WR Case & Sons. Case Brothers did make them but only the middle size (055).

The 0093 stockman and muskrat were not either.

Thanks Steve for the additional information. It's always nice to learn something new about the Case Classics.
