can someone plz tell me what year the xx changer came out ? I have a 1986 with bone handles

1986 was the first year. It was not listed in the March 1986 price list or the 1986 catalog, but it was in the June 1987 price list. It likely was first made late in 1986.rockmyworld wrote:can someone plz tell me what year the xx changer came out ? I have a 1986 with bone handles
I had no idea that they made them with bone handles that early, though. I only recall the basic wood handled version.

The owners manual is dated 1987. I have one in rosewood with the Burlington Northern emblem logo embeded in brass in the handle scale. It was a 25 year award given to an employee.
