622000 TB Case. These TB Case knives clearly are well made knives. Quality is as good as I have seen
on a modern day factory knife. I think the 2000 was the first TB year knife, one pattern each year. I hope

Actually, I believe the first Tony Bose year model was made in 1999. It was a 62048, also in the chestnut jig bone. I have one of these and I'm pretty sure Jim Sargent told me it was the first of the series.

I'am sure you are right, any way the 2000 can't be the first year since you have a 1999. Could you do a
picture. It would be nice to see. I don't collect new knives just happened into this one.

If I can find my wife's camera I'll see what I can do. She is the photographer in the house. The 1999 Tony Bose knife is a slim line trapper or farmer's knife with chestnut bone handles like the 2000 model you have pictured. I also have the 2000 model like yours, the 2001 model, a Yukon Folding Hunter in Autumn Bone, and the 2003 model, a beautiful Dog Leg Jack in Abalone. I got them all from Mr. Sargent at one time or another. These are all really well made with attention to detail that you don't see on most factory made knives. I have a list of the Tony Bose knives from 1999 through 2008. From 1999 until 2002 the knives were only offered in one handle material. From 2003 through 2008 one pattern per year was produced but they were offered in multiple handle materials. Like you, I wasn't looking to collect these knives but I liked their fit and finish and bought them more as an investment.
