This bottle is made of cast iron. I have been unable to find another online. I did read that iron is one of the few things that doesn't react with mercury. Height is apprx. 6" and 3" in diameter at base. I'd like to hear from anyone who might know what it is and what it was used for. Thanks

Beautiful time of year. Your trees and bushes are looking good. Ours are bare now.

Beautiful pictures Big Monk! we have a delayed display of color in LA(lower Alabama-Florida panhandle) but it is a great time of the year.

buck16, that's interesting, how much liquid does that thing hold? I have a few old bottles and this is new to me.

Thanks Perry. It's a beautiful spot just a short walk from my house. There's a corn field nearby that was an Indian village for thousands of years. The river was their highway.

Oh yeah John, we did a little bit of that last summer. The money never seems to stop flowin right out of my hands into someone else's. Tomorrow I will take my auto to the shop to get some much needed attention before Christmas.

Just had shocks all around and sway bar links put on my truck. Don't they know Christmas is coming? They must have put on extra, extra heavy duty shocks because now it rides like a TRUCK.

I replaced the front shocks on my RAM 2500 but you could never tell the difference from the old ones.

Anyone have any idea what kind of nest this is? It was located about 20 feet up in a tree, on a very small and exposed branch. I spent many hours sitting in a tree about 10 feet away from it at just below eye level and never saw anything coming or going...leading me to believe it's a leftover from before the weather turned cold...
It was about the size of a softball....
