Pictures of Miscellaneous Stuff & Things

If you can think of something to talk about that is not related to knives, discuss it here.

I've pitched for over 40 years. Everyone around here throws Gordons. They were made in
Cincinnati.
Company went out of business, trademark was sold and production moved to China. "New" shoes not near the quality of the old Gordons. Kinda sounds familiar doesen't it!

Yes, I'm no snake expert but it's possibly a Stimson's Python.

Not as much as I used to. Just no time. Mine are orange and purple. CHanna made them for my 25th wedding anniversary about 5 years ago.

Imagine going home for dinner and responding to your parent's question, "Well, what did you do today?" with "We played "cornhole" all day and I lost."

Well we live and learn, don' we? I had to look sideways at the words "corn hole" as they were not appropriate when we were growing up 50+ years ago. Doing a word search you realize that words become antiquated and no longer hold the meanings we originally learned. Think about being bright and cheerful, lighthearted, merry.....gay doesn't mean that in most circles today. So "corn hole" must be a good thing today ::facepalm:: !

I know what you mean. Remember thongs ( the foam rubber shoes) when you was a kid. They are not the same thongs as the girls wear now.
