Case Classic Concept Knife eBay item #290132261576

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Case Classic Concept Knife eBay item #290132261576

Post by Forensic Jim »

Found this knife on eBay and am really intriqued by the listing and the sellers claim that this is a concept knife. Item #290132261576. Does any one have any info on the legitamacy of an item like this? I've never seen a shield like this on a Case knife, but I'm new at this hobby so I wouldn't really know. I wouldn't buy it but I'm really curious about the sellers claims on the history of this knife.

those handles look awfully old. Either way I like it. a barehead cokebottle with a spear blade is a good design.

Hey Jim & Ratman,

This knife is definitely a forgery made up with a Case Classic blade from a 1990 - ROG62046J, the description is totally bogus & misleading as its just a parts knife! ....This post should be moved back to the counterfeit watch Boys!!!

Roger thanks for the info. I'm just a beginner with knives, but everything about this listing looked bogus. Some poor guy will probably fall for this.
