We went for a drive last Sunday and I got interested in the signs different ranches put up on their private roads. Here's an older all wood one and a new-age CNC torch cut all metal one.

Neat. They sure chain 'em down tight so that Wyoming Wind doesn't flop 'em around and bust 'em.

I agree with Johnny, the GT40 is tops. That one looks real, good job building and photographing!

Hi Rick, I had a drive of a MK1 GT40 with the small 289 engine.
Although it was on a race track, I was told to keep the speed under 100mph.
That was some car, the MK3 would be a hand-full to drive.

Re: Pictures of Miscellaneous Stuff & Things
I've been trying to get pics of the sunrise with the city(?) skyline in the background and the river in the foreground. Might have finally found a good spot this morning to line everything up. The nearest tower object is a replica of an wooden oil derrick used in the Teapot Dome area eighty or ninty years ago. It's not a very big city, so there's only two or three buildings sticking up.

Re: Pictures of Miscellaneous Stuff & Things
Beautiful pics Rustle!
Well this thread is titled pics of "miscellaneous stuff and things"....so I guess this is as good a spot as any to post these two pics. A couple of guys with a set up for making minnie balls and musket balls...little pot of molten lead on the burner, young kid turning the hand crank to blow air on the coals...small little dipper on the end of the long handle extending into the coals that he would pour lead from into a hand held mold, then knock the balls out into the metal plate on the table. Pretty straight forward operation!
(if ya click on the pics it should enlarge to see more detail...)

T.J. you've got a mean streak in you. I don't see how your wife has stayed married to you all these years. Now get your butt ready, get to church and ask forgiveness for being so ornery.
