German maker ?

I haven't been able to figure out the maker on this one. The tang has "Theo (?) Cutlery Co. -- Germany." Thanks for any help.

Ok got the knife and made out some of the tang stamp. BTW both blades are marked and the knife is very well made. H F ? J Dixon Cutlery Company c,1920. Any info will be great.
The pearl is real nice and the file work on the bolster is very well done. It is a great old German knife but that is all I know.

That particular style of filework was peculiar to inexpensive German made knives in the 1930's.I have several by various makers.Most are pearl but I have one that is I believe bone.Here are a few of mine.Sorry I don't have individual pics.
They are: Argyle Cut.;F.A.Koch;Howes Cut.;W inside a diamond;and Wilson Bros.Sheffield.

Dimitri I will try to git some pic"s tomarow outside but the tang is going to be tough. It look like to me it is the same knife you have in the last pic,2nd knife from the bottom.What is the tang stamp on that one say?

All sorry Dimitri,LOL But it look like that knife don't you think?
Colonial666, it is stamped Germany on both blades,you can see that part but the rest is hard to make out.

It does look similar, I have seen a multitude of these type knives with many different tang stamps

Sometimes Germany helps produce blades or handle assemblies because it was more affordable and helped France fill large orders. Some French makers order metal to make orders one run at a time upon request and don't warehouse at all. Takes a little longer but saves them money.
