Nice! I love those panel trucks.
My dad had a couple when I was a kid. One was about a 1938 Dodge IIRC.

Panel trucks always bring back good memories of my childhood.
Thanks for posting the pic!

A couple or three weeks ago when we were up at the Whiffle Tree for our weekly 'Wings' outing, there was a Boss Hoss parked outside. That's a lot of motorcycle.

LOL!! I love German Shephards, but poor ol' Friday looks a little demeaned in that second pic! He's like, "Come on, are you kidding me?! Couldn't you atleast make it a beer can?!!" ::disgust:: Cool pics!!

I had the same thought. Fortunately, he is a patient beast and didn't go for my throat.

It's a control panel for a framigulator. :)

Nah, it's a control panel of some kind. Under magnification you can make out a couple of the the sections say "Gate #(?)" on them. The device it's self says in the green stripe across the middle "Ball Port Inspection Area". I'm wondering if it's not a sally port control panel in a prison.

Jerry you nailed it [not the framuligator;the're obsolete]; and whitebuffalo you got it too. The panel controls a sally port: 8 mobile gates and 4 steel barriers that rise into place when a certain airport is under alert. Well done.

Used to work in a state pen here in 'Bama. Posting that picture online would be considered a breach of security.......and subject to criminal charges.

Due to budgetary constraints this post and system were removed some time ago. Quite a bit of money was lost on this.

I found this little tiny vise at a flea market years ago. Its very well made, and there is no play or slop in the jaws. The jaw faces are cross hatched and removable with tiny little screws. Its made to screw down to a work bench. stamped into the jaw is:PATENT PENDING D.R.P.48449 ENGLAND 2478 G.BOLEY. on the end of the screw post is :79741. The whole thing is about 3 inches long.

That's a great vise!

And those pots look great. Do you cook with pots like those on a regular basis?

A couple of interesting vehicles I saw today. Does anyone remember the Crosley? 50 mpg compact car from the 1940s.
