Smokepole, you're killing me. Just killing me. That looks fantastic!!! I just love that blade combo and you did a great job with it.
Today, it's the de-bailed Ulster Camper. Much nicer to carry with no bail. Two too many blades though.

In terms of carrying knives not fully done (and to be clear, I don't equate modifying an Opinel handle to building a knife from stinkin' scratch!), this Opinel #10 is riding in the PDA case, even though the handle isn't all the way done. Blade knocked back to a drop point and handle thinned with easy open indent. Still tuning the pivot though and several coats of top coat needed.

The knife is about the same size as my Buck 110 at about a 1/4 of the weight. Light enough to disappear in the PDA case unnoticed. Still big enough to start feeling like a real knife though.
This was my first experience working with water based dye stains. I'm kind of digging the black and steel combo though. It definitely has a presence about it.
