I think you do have it Perry and now you've come full circle, right back to that gold mine thing.

I think I can sum it up with one statement:

Jerry ol' buddy, if there's one thing that almost 40 years of marriage has taught me, when there's a mad dog on one side and a raging bull on the other, it's best just to stay on the fence. ::paranoid::

I was told there would be no MATH!

It's simple multiplication.

That Gold Mine that Jerry keeps talking about is not the kind from which the miner removes deposits, but the kind into which the miner makes deposits.

Ponder on that a moment.

Not that I ascribe to this particular sentiment, as I most certainly do not, but an Army buddy of mine, after receiving the umpteenth letter from home complaining about the situation there, which, of course, was something about which he could do absolutely nothing, stated:

"Women! Can't live with 'em, Can't kill 'em!"

Dang, I hate to break this conversation up. It's really pretty interesting...

Here is some more of my trade day "stuff". I have a lot of fun down there every month. I consider trade day my therapy...

The winged horse ashtray almost made me want to start smoking, again. It is a real, honest to gosh Bronze, not pot metal. I like it but I quit smoking 5 years ago and there ain't no way I'm gonna start back...

You don't see these little olive sticker swords much any more. They look good in my stack book case...

The little table saw is kinda cute. It is made of heavy cast aluminum. The table is adjustable. The blade is about 2&3/4" in diameter. The blade is turned by a pulley. I think these were popular several years ago to go with one of the little bitty steam engines...

The cannon is a shooter. I haven't gotten to shoot it yet but I have some Pyrodex. All I need is some firecracker fuse and BANG!!! The barrel is about 8" long and is .50 caliber. About 10 grains should be a good starting point, huh?

These 2 hammer racks came out of an old Wally World store. Good way to get a dozen hammers out of a tool box drawer, I guess.

Yep, it's only "stuff" but it's my "stuff".

That IS great stuff Bill! My dad had one of those mini table saws, he used it to cut up pen blanks for turning. He had it hooked up to an old sewing machine motor. Worked great for small projects. Nice finds!

I'm wondering if the ash tray has a connection to the petroleum company that used Pegasus as a logo.

Neat stuff.

Thanks for the comments on my "stuff". Thought I would post a couple more pictures of the pegasus. It isn't marked any where. The bottom is covered with an old, green felt. Should I take it off, look under it for a marking, the replace it, or just leave it alone? The base is about 6&7/8" X 5&1/2". The overall height is about 5&1/2". There are no chips, cracks, breaks, of flaws of any kind. Has a great, even patina on it.One of the pics is from the same angle as Jerry's post. Let me know what you think. I've gotten several emails from members and even a couple from non-members, wanting to buy it. All I really want to do is show it off. Thanks again for your interest.

No price on there anymore but definitely rare and worth holding on to. A really great find particularly if you like Art Deco.
