New York knife Co. Real or Fake?

Post by knife-nut »

Beautiful knife. Looks like it was made yesterday. No patina. Also the notorious red background worries me. Also the pattern is one that I,ve seen alot of fakes. ::shrug:: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-New-Yor ... 3372c09ed8

KN,

I say its absolutely the real thing. Even before I looked it up it looked right as rain.
Whomever the lucky bidder, it probably will cost $. I've seen plenty of NYKC with the bolsters Stamped, but that pattern is a first. I wish I could join the bidding list but thta's one that would get me in trouble... ::tear::
