There was a time when you couldn't find Yuengling if you strayed very far from Philadelphia but they have widened their distribution over the last decade. We found it up in Buffalo in 2009 and it was being served in the hotel bar when I was down in Atlantic Beach, North Carolina (Cherry Point MCAS area) in 2007. That was a pleasant surprise. Most who try the Lager like it.

My brother is the strongest person I know... except for me that is.
It was bear season and we had split up for the day, after a little bit of hiking, we bumped into each other, strange how thats happens in the middle of a huge forrest. Anyhow, we decided to have a friendly contest, we wanted to see who could lift the most weight. We started off small, but that was all too easy, next thing I know Ethan is throwing trees everywhere.

Caleb, you mentioned Jim Corbett and Peter Capstick in your "knife photography" thread.
I scrambled to my library and dug out all of my related books to that genre.
I photographed title pages when the book cover wasn't descriptive.
Talk about captivating reading. These men were the real deal when the game would bite back or just stomp you.

Robert Ruark was an extremely talented writer and one of my favorites, I really enjoyed The Old Man & the Boy.
Corbett is probably my favorite though, his writing transports you in time, and the next thing you know, your walking side by side through the thick scrub jungle after a man-eater.
Really, really detailed in his stories.

That book, "The Book of the Lion" by Sir Alfred E. Pease, is a great read too. He gets seperated from his party as night falls and expects to die that night........................The story is true.

Have you Fella's ever read any Fantasy / Horror books?...........I have read almost everything Clive Barker has put out.

I never have Johnnie. I usually read historical, or instructive material. Something along those lines.
But I also enjoy poetry as well. From E.E.Cummings to Robert Burns, Frost, Sandburg, Service, and many other poets I've never heard of.

I read a LOT. Mostly cheap trashy fiction, murder mystery, action adventure and occasionally military fiction and non-fiction.

Peter Hathoway Capstick has some good stories of being a PWH ( professional white hunter) in Afikkee. DEATH IN THE LONG GRASS is a great read.

If you like aviation related stuff, I highly recommend about anything written by Ernest K Gann. His book FATE IS THE HUNTER is one of all time favorites.

Joe...I have read some Historical material....but the only poetry I've read was stuff I had to in High School.

Jerry, I've read some Tom Clancy....and murder mysteries...Patricia Cornwell.

Other than that....usually Fantasy/Horror ..or Sci-Fi.

I used to read alot of medical and dental stuff, about 25 years of it.......now its planting and farming and anything else I feel like knowing something about.
I really like reading the Bible. Lots of history, knowledge and widsom there.
It has it all, some folks tell me it is just words, but you gotta read between the lines over and over.

9ball.....I sure do....That be Pin Head from Hellraiser ....never read the books but watched all the movies. The first 2 were my favorites.. after that they started getting pretty cheesy.
My favorite books by Clive are.....

"The Great and Secret Show"....and "Everville" which is part 2
"Weave World"
"Imajica"
"Sacrement"
and all 3 of "The Books of Blood"

At the Antiques Road Show in Madison Wisconsin in July of 2009, Leslie Keno appraised my chair. It was barely worth what the "antiques experts", my ex-wife and her mother, paid for it in 1983. Ahh what the heck. They might not be "antiques experts" but I like the chair and it wasn't my money that bought it (mostly).

Hi, last month I made a power supply for my son, that lives in the Australian Bush.
This unit uses six 12 volt - 120AH batteries to supply 3500 Watts of power, that supplies all the power we need to run a full house. Lights, TV,DVD, refrigerator, micro-wave etc.

The first pic looks like the view under my Golf cart. ....That looks really awesome!! ...what is the cost for a complete setup like that?
I live in Arizona and get a hell of a lot of sun.....and was wondering about an alternative from the Electric company.

My son’s home is 300 miles from the coast, and he cannot get power.
The six 12 volt - 220AH batteries are about the same size as the big RV batteries (much larger then a car battery)
I find it hard to lift one of them off the ground. Cost for the system was about $A6000.

In Australia we use 240 volt AC power.
I have a 22 Solar panel system on my home, that cost $A14,500.
All my power for my house comes from the power company; my power bill is about $A350 every 3 months.
All of the power my solar system makes, I sell back to the Power Station – for about $A750 every 3 months.
The Power Station then sends me a cheque for $A400.

Now thats alright......it would pay for itself in no time!! .......I bought a mobile home that had a solar powered hot water system. I rented it out for approximately 7 years before I finally sold it...I never really had any problems with it but was always interested in going fully solar....I think that I will look into it.
