What is the benefit of a double pull? Is it just for looks? I can't imagine opening a blade with the pull so close to the tang. Especially a GEC with a gator snap. Just asking? ::shrug::

I'm with you,Smoke ::hmm:: I don't see how you could open,a GEC,with that pull,set back,so far????????? I really think,it is just a cosmetic,add on,just like pinched & ringed bolsters :) ____it seems to ""over-load"" the looks,on this new knife ( my opinion) ::tu::
I'm not young enough,____to know everything !!!!!!!!!!!!

I heard with a back swedge on both blades the frame "appears" to big for the knife when looking at it with blades closed ::shrug:: Definitely prefer the Tidioute over the Northfield this time around.......

wow, i guess i'm in the minority here (nothing new for me, i guess).
i think the new northfield 73s look great!
yes, i would've preferred fancier bolsters, but i think the swedge and double pulls look very cool.
