What is the benefit of a double pull? Is it just for looks? I can't imagine opening a blade with the pull so close to the tang. Especially a GEC with a gator snap. Just asking?

I don't see how you could open,a GEC,with that pull,set back,so far????????? I really think,it is just a cosmetic,add on,just like pinched & ringed bolsters
____it seems to ""over-load"" the looks,on this new knife ( my opinion)

I heard with a back swedge on both blades the frame "appears" to big for the knife when looking at it with blades closed
Definitely prefer the Tidioute over the Northfield this time around.......

wow, i guess i'm in the minority here (nothing new for me, i guess).
i think the new northfield 73s look great!
yes, i would've preferred fancier bolsters, but i think the swedge and double pulls look very cool.
