Nice photos everyone. Perry that radio is amazing. I have some bakelite and plastic radios from the 20s through 50s too. Can you show a few more?

LOL, I wish I was that active but maybe I would not be able to keep up.
My eye is looking somewhat better but still seein the doc in the morning cause I want it removed.
I have seen the pics online of sebaceous cysts, ugly tho they are, it apparently does eventually heal up to nothing.
Hard for me to believe right now.

Re: Pictures of Miscellaneous Stuff & Things
Here's a pic of my cute little "town rig" with a "fat chick" onboard.

Tractor had hot rodded 454 Mack engine that was cranking about 500 to the ground. It would snort pretty good.
GVW with that 50T "hot Link" was 144K lbs.
It was 13' wide, 14' high, and 90' long.
Had a ground clearance of 7"!
It actually needed one more axle to be legal at that weight but we ran it like that anyway and got away with it. The trailer was rated at 50T and the machine weighed 44T.
Lost all my pics of the old 4 axle, V-8 powered Mack and the 9 axle trailer in a hard drive crash. DAMMIT. That old Mack V-8 would pass about anything except a fuel stop. It would run 90MPH with a GVW of 250K lbs. It had an air shift 5X4 tranny that what interesting to shift. I'd rather have two sticks any day than that abortion.
That V-8 was putting about 700HP to the ground and was an axle snappin SOB if you got stupid with it. Carried two spare axles in special holders on the headache rack for those "AW s...! NOT again DAMMIT!" moments. Got to where I could swap an axle in about 30 minutes most of the time.
Stopping it was harder than keeping it going.

Re: Pictures of Miscellaneous Stuff & Things
A couple more of mine, some older stuff. First is a pic of a Vega Style K Mandolin Banjo. This instrument belonged to my grandfather and was made in the mid 1920's. All original except for the bridge and the head, though I do still have the old calf?skin head. If passed on to my grandchildren, it will have been in the family for 5-generations.
The second is an American Conservatory mandolin made by Lyon & Healy in the 19-teens. It would be considered a transition instrument in that the the top of the mandolin is canted (bent) and and has a flat back and would transition from the bowl back to the flat back mandolins. The mandolin has solid magogany back, sides, and neck and solid spruce top. The mandolin is old enough for the pick guard/finger rest to be real tortoise shell but I'm not sure.

Well Perry, that certainly qualifies with the threads title, but I hope you don't create a following here.
You know how these things can take off.
O.K........ I'd like to post some more fishing reels.
The "Alvey reel" was used to capture the world distance casting record.
EDIT:
AAHAA! JUST IN TIME;......Jumped to a new page before some of that #$@&%$ got on my reels!!!!!!!!!!
