A handforged bowie by my father
This is one my father made (he is retired now). A 12 1/2" blade forged from a leaf spring. Whitetail deer crown handle with 4 brass tacks, brass guard. He made this off of an origional in a museum for a re-inactor. It has been used since then and has aquired a patina; he made it as a working knife, but it looks good doing it too! I think so anyway.
