I've been eyeballing one of these in bruised banana bone but have held up for that reason. Thanks.

I thought I had several ebony folders to post but turns out some
are buffalo horns and Case College says the 22087 isn't ebony either.

So I'm down to one but it's a good'un imho.
Seen a few already posted but surely one more won't hurt.

After drooling over this thread again, I thought i'd add a couple. It's hard to beat ebony IMO. Even old half used up jacks do it for me ::tu::

I love me some ebony, too. ::tu:: ::tu::

Here's an E.C. Simmons Keen Kutter, and a Shapleigh Diamond Edge single blade jack. I think the Shapleigh is actually rosewood. Both of these still have a faint etch visible.

Nice knives fellers. Ebony is one of my favorite woods. Have several knives with ebony handles and all my guitars, mandolins and fiddles have ebony fingerboards, bridges and the fiddles have ebony tailpieces. Beautifully, simplistic wood, and it has better tonal qualities than rosewood.
