::hmm:: I just pulled this out of a vinegar bath and looks a lot better, it was covered with a lot of rust.....

::handshake:: Thanks CxIII ::nod::, ... after that picture, I put it into the oil tank and let it "drip-dry" so to speak, next step is to buff it a little on a wire wheel.

I love the old time look of that knife, @GSPTOPSOG.

I recently heard that Bear and Son had bought the tooling for the original Western 49 from Camillus when that company stopped production.

I always wanted a Western 49, so I bought one.

Pretty nice knife and sheath for the money and USA made in Alabama.
