Anyone collect Bowies?
After getting out my old/newer Case Bowie for a comparison to another Bowie I picked up, I started looking around the "knife-room"
looks
like I might have started collecting Bowies at some point...
but I am not sure when...

I had 5 of the 6, I still have G. Washinton's dagger and the Bowie, but traded the others off a few years ago...1967redrider wrote: ↑Tue May 10, 2022 2:21 am Nice group, GSP.![]()

This one from Tops is a little more "modern" so to speak...

Re: Anyone collect Bowies?
It has a similar point to a Natchez style Bowie knife. The handle is more of a modern tactical style handle.

Here are a couple I have had a while and a sheath I have been working on that will fit them both.

Thank you
It is one of my favorites out of my Bowie knives.
I have some other knives that fit into the Bowie genre, (like the following two Case Bowie knives), but I'll stand back and watch what else pops up during this thread... I am looking forward to it.
Bowie Knives are cool!

The large straight blades Case you’re showing with the glove on, is it the Rio Grande knife? I have never seen one until last month, I was watching it on eBay. Truth be told the final sale price was a lot lower than I thought it would have been for a knife that size.pocketknifejimmy wrote: ↑Sun Sep 04, 2022 7:07 pm

It sure is, a Case 'Rio Grande Camp Knife', and it's an awesomely made knife.C-WADE7 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 04, 2022 11:48 pmThe large straight blades Case you’re showing with the glove on, is it the Rio Grande knife? I don't think many folks know about them, I myself just recently discovered the model. I'm really glad I picked mine up
