a photo inspired by my Celtic fantasy of what folks might have carried to those celebrations across the centuries.

The mood and atmosphere you've created in your photo is evocative and perfectly suited to the knives, Mel, and inspires a lot more than a thousand words; it invokes a thousand years of Celtic history. Well done

Here's my little tribute to Celtic lore....Although I am pretty certain the ancient Celts did not have Russlocks the inlaid designs are intended to depict Celtic style. I don't know the symbolism of the sword and rose on the pile side, but the interlocking "Celtic knot" style of the Seahorse on the mark side is obvious.

I like the light contrast in your second photo, Squach, with the foreground illuminated against the dark forest in the background....very dramatic

Steve, although I can see how it would be easy to misinterpret my photo as a brutal representation of violence, it's actually not as diabolical as it may appear. The knife is supposed to be the horn protruding from the head of a magical, mythical "unicorn man." So, you see, it's light and whimsical not heavy and dark at all

Fingers, I like your clever interpretation I wonder if I could license it to the makers of Tylenol for use in pain relief marketing campaigns

... Uuhmmm ... I remember watching an old episode of the Brady Bunch "Hawaii Bound", where the Brady family travels to Hawaii and encounters a tiki idol that brings bad luck to anyone who touches it... ... Q... I am worried that have put yourself at terrible risk and potentially great harm!! ... I hope that you are OK so far... If we don't see any more post from you, at least we will have an idea of what caused your disappearance to happened .....

Steve, I know when I look at recent pictures of myself, ... I can see that I do in fact, look a little bit older... But I still feel that I have a few good years left .... before I completely turn into dust...
