I have pondered the words to Take This Job And Shove it many times over the years.

i woke last night to the sound of thunder
how far off i sat and wondered
started humming a song from nineteen sixty two
aint it funny how the night moves

Willie is still going strong, he may be the last of the original Outlaws.

RIP David. Great songwriter, interesting life story.

He was a wild one. Loved "Mona Lisa Lost Her Smile". Amazing he made 86! Gives me hope. RIP J.O'.

D.A.C. sang the hell out of "You Never Even Call Me By My Name" although he didn't write it. It came from the minds of two other greats who have also passed, Steve Goodman and John Prine. RIP to all three icons. Sadly, they jes' ain't makin' 'em like 'at no more. J.O'.
