Good to see you posting again Garry, it’s been awhile since I last saw a post of yours. I like those A.G. Russell TR knives, I always thought that was a great idea of his to commemorate the Texas Rangers. I wonder what his connection was to the Rangers, if there was a personal connection?

I picked up another big ol' Bulldog Anglo-Saxon Whittler in Shepherdsville to go with that sub-collection as well. And man... At over 5" closed, these things are huge.

I picked up another Ron Lake tail lock this past week. I already had the pearl handled one, the stag is new to me. Really tight run up on these. This tail lock is a pretty neat invention. This is probably the closest I will get to owning a real Ron Lake knife.

I picked up another Ron Lake tail lock this past week. I already had the pearl handled one, the stag is new to me. Really tight run up on these. This tail lock is a pretty neat invention. This is probably the closest I will get to owning a real Ron Lake knife.

First time I laid eyes on the tail locks I was hooked but at that time even the copies were out of range for me, so needless to say the Ron Lake originals were just something to admire.
