Re: Eagle Knife Company
Very recently, my trip to the post office produced this pocket knife. It now becomes my most recent example to be posted under this topic or thread. It also became the most recent example to be added to my collection. It is an EAGLE KNIFE COMPANY (1916-1919), one blade, one tang stamp, 3 3/8" closed, all metal, pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says, "EAGLE KNIFE CO (over) PAT. PEND (over) MADE IN USA" This pocket knife is a "cousin" of the ALLEN CUTLERY COMPANY, the GEO. SCHRADE KNIFE CO., INC., the VALLEY FORGE CUTLERY COMPANY, the ETCHED P. COMPANY, and other cutlery companies that manufactured pocket knives of a similar, simple construction. Overall, this is my thirtieth, EAGLE KNIFE COMPANY pocket knife. ALL twenty-nine of my other, EAGLE KNIFE COMPANY pocket knives, have been previously posted, under and throughout, this topic or thread. The main blade does have a WEAK half stop. The main blade does NOT have an opening snap. The main blade does NOT have a closing snap. Overall, this pocket knife is in EXCELLENT condition. This pocket knife did NOT need any cleaning at all. I just wiped it off. I took some pictures and here it is.

I looked at these pocket knives a little more closely. MY above quoted ***** NOTE ***** etc.,
is WRONG! In regards to ANY and ALL previous posts involving EAGLE KNIFE COMPANY or
related pocket knives (CRUSADER & DIXON), they ALL do have an actual spring or springs.
It extends from the pivot pin to the center pin. The spring on ALL of these pocket knives,
IS NOT, I repeat, IS NOT the bend which forms the bottom of each pocket knife.

It was in the well of the main blade. See the LAST picture below.

ANY previous post involving EAGLE KNIFE COMPANY or related pocket knives (CRUSADER & DIXON),
should NOT have "one spring" or "single spring" in the description of the pocket knife. The "spring"
on ALL of these pocket knives, is the "bend" which forms the bottom of each pocket knife.
I looked at these pocket knives a little more closely. MY above quoted ***** NOTE ***** etc.,
is WRONG! In regards to ANY and ALL previous posts involving EAGLE KNIFE COMPANY or

Re: Eagle Knife Company
A couple of days ago, my trip to the post office produced this advertising pocket knife. It now becomes my most recent example to be posted under this topic or thread. It also became the most recent example to be added to my collection. It is an EAGLE KNIFE COMPANY (1916-1919), one blade, one tang stamp, 2 7/8" closed, all metal, advertising, pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says, "EAGLE (over) KNIFE CO" The main handle side says, "WEAR RED GOOSE SHOES" The other handle side says nothing, it is blank. This is only my fourth EAGLE KNIFE CO pocket knife that has advertising on it. But, it is my second, EAGLE KNIFE CO. pocket knife that is advertising this particular product. My other "WEAR RED GOOSE SHOES" pocket knife was posted, under this topic or thread, back on Wednesday, July 2, 2025. Overall, this is my thirty-eighth, EAGLE KNIFE COMPANY pocket knife. ALL thirty-seven of my other, EAGLE KNIFE COMPANY pocket knives, have been previously posted, under and throughout, this topic or thread. This pocket knife is a "cousin" of the ALLEN CUTLERY COMPANY, the GEO. SCHRADE KNIFE CO., INC., the VALLEY FORGE CUTLERY COMPANY, the ETCHED P. COMPANY, and other knife or cutlery companies that manufactured pocket knives of a similar, simple construction. The main blade does have a WEAK half stop. The main blade does have an OK opening snap. The main blade does NOT have a closing snap. Overall, this pocket knife is in VERY GOOD condition. This pocket knife did NOT require any cleaning at all. I just wiped it off.
I took some pictures and here it is.
