Dave...knives with family history are priceless...this belonged to my grandfather...it's what got me started collecting...one day my grandson will have it... ::tu::

While not in love with the main blade that 6380 is a GREAT pattern and NICE looking!

I have had this one for a while and kind of forgot about it. This thread reminded me to drag it out. It is a CASE XX 11031SH which the research area on this board also calls a "Navy or Whaler Knife" Walnut Handles, Sheepfoot blade. I noticed there was no picture of one on the research page, if the Mods want to use these feel free...

Glad you like that stag, Dimitri; and nice 6318 jemjr!

Here is an interesting shot of a pattern that spans several Case stampings. The pattern is 6228P, and is a teardrop HJ.
These are, top to bottom, a Tested, a Bradford, and a W.R.
Note, they all have the same punch.
In the second pic, the order is changed, and I've added a Slick black Tested, in remakable condition.
