Great capture of that spectacular sunset, those are excellent.

I agree on the coil car, there were also some NS coil cars that followed which had the more traditional rounded look.

A few shots from Cherryvale Kansas back in Oct 2014 CV was on Santa Fe’s Tulsa line. It was a busy place back in the day. Frisco track crossed over the Santa Fe here
Watco owns both the SF and Frisco trackage now

What a classy old depot, I wonder how many of those Sante Fe depots are still around? The last shot of that SKOL is really nice.
