Like striking gold -- sure appreciate this forum as I have admired Camillus knives for quite some time.

Will try to post pictures of 2 older knives

One is a 4 1/4" closed English jack

The whittler has a early 3 line stamp (like a 4 line whithout the USA) on the master and the clip blades.
The pen blade is stamped BRANTFORD Cutlery Co USA -- This knife has not been apart or cleaned. Camillus surely made contract knives for Butler Bros who used this mark.
It would have been easy for this to have occured in assembly.

.......wish I could post pictures!!....mine is 3 3/8", 4 line stamped, plain bar shield, 2 blades plus the punch, rogers bone and you need good fingernails to open it!!!!........... ......................

Thought to give this topic a bump. Haven't shown this one before, at least not in this thread. This camp knife is in minty condition with the covers being dull red in color; not bright red.

Not sure if I should post this here.
I just repaired these 2 jack knives. I noticed that one had a pin just for the bail. The other used the rear pin for the bail. I thought that was interesting was it done to save time not to make an extra hole for the bail? Or are they different models?

Hey Nev, those are a couple of nice looking EO JACKS. Are they around 3-3/8" closed. They actually look like the General Utility knives made under government contract for the Navy & Coast Guard. I am no expert on them, but most of the ones I've seen with the bail pinned through the bolster was made by PAL. Most I've seen with the bail pinned through the handle & liner were by Utica, Camillus, Imperial, and Kingston. These are also listed in the book "Pocket Knife of the United States Military.

You are correct they are 3 3/8'' long. Both are Camillus Thanks for the information. Both are a very nice EDC great pocket size

I have a pretty nice Camillus 49. My grandfather won it at a bingo game my family used to have during Christmas. He gave it to me when he won it and I have had it since. It is in pretty decent shape. Somehow I have managed to keep up with it for about 50 years. I will post a picture of it later. I have zero interest in selling it, but I thought the Camillus folks might appreciate it.

If you post a pic or 2 please include a pic of the tang stamp . That would help us get an approximate age of knife . If 50 years old it may be a long line stamp. Believe the 49 is the “ Tuxedo “ model . There’s also a 49 P ,some say with Pearl covers but never seen one . Only seen the faux Pearl .

Hi all, don’t know if I should post this here, but here is a Camillus United States marshal service series knife I inherited from my father after his passing. I don’t really know much about it, but am trying to learn more and the Camillus brand in general as I am a fan now.
