3 knife set...what year?

Schrade Cutlery Company was founded in 1904 by George Schrade, and his brothers Jacob and William Schrade. In 1946 Imperial Knife Associated Companies, (IKAC; an association of Ulster Knife Co and Imperial Knife Co) purchased controlling interest in Schrade Cut Co and changed the name to Schrade Walden Cutlery. In 1973 the name was changed to Schrade Cutlery. In 2004 Schrade closed due to bankruptcy.

This forum is dedicated to the knives that are the legacy of this company. This forum is not the place to discuss the replica knives currently being imported using the Schrade name.

If it doesn't say Schrade USA, then I think it's an offshore trio. But nice find.
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

Correct. China. Schrade folders from 1904 through maybe about 1951 will be stamped N.Y. but not U.S.A. After that until the bankruptcy in 2004 all folders will have U.S .A. in the stamp. No exceptions that I am aware of. If there is an exception it would be a certain very late "modern" folder with thumb stud and BG-42 steel which was too hard for their stamps. My old brain can't remember the name of that knife but it was a collaboration with two designers, "somebody & somebody."
