This guitar was built at The Wayne Henderson School of Appalachian Arts in Marion, VA. There were five students and three master luthiers in the class I attended. I wish I could say I built it, but I had a lot help from the three master luthiers. I can say it is a one of one and it is the best playing guitar I’ve ever played. And to quote an old Shake and Bake TV commercial, “ And I helped”.
Bill - I'm late to the guitar players party on the previous page ... your acoustic looks fantastic - wish I could say I built my favorite guitar. I tend to gravitate to guitars that use electrons (which is why my hearing is shot) ::facepalm:: ...

Show off! Are those all yours? If I was going to grab an electric guitar (which I do every once in a while) it'd be that maple Gibson in the middle of your photo. ::tu::

Great looking axes you got there I play mostly acoustic, but have a few old electrics as well. Don't have pictures of most of my accumulation. Guess I'll need to work on that.

Bill & Charlie - yeah, I've been at the guitar accumulation thing for a long time - LOL. Playing music is a great hobby - there's always a guitar on my lap when I'm surfin the web...

My guitar{s} are more like my psychiatrist. Playing keeps me (relatively) sane. To paraphrase Bob McDill's "Amanda": "I got my first guitar when I was 14 (true), now I'm over 70 and still wearing jeans (also true).

Wow, it seems that canoe pattern pocket knives and stringed instruments have a cosmic connection!! ::nod::

I shot this pic for the EDC thread while packing for an annual event in the wilds of WV a couple of years back.
